Who We Are

Nathan Conner (Guitar/Vocals) – Nathan Conner is a singer songwriter from the small town of Cherryvale, KS. He has been part of the Praise and Worship scene most of his life and is actively working as a Praise and Worship Leader/Organizer.

Nathan works with a number of fellowships, churches and ministries, all with the same goal of unified worship across multiple denominations and doctrines. He is known as a unifier of worshipers, often quoted as saying

We both believe in the one true God of Israel, we both believe in Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah, and we both believe in salvation through the Messiah…why can’t we worship together?”

Rebeka Crawford (Bass/Vocals)Rebeka grew up in the church, all her life, her parents and family have been highly involved in their church. Her love of music came early and she dabbled through school with band and choir.

When Rebeka joined her current church’s worship team it had been several years since she had been involved in music. With her return to music came a new instrument, the bass guitar.

With the support of her husband Ron and son she enjoys being part of Worship Calling to share God’s message through playing, singing and writing.

Angel Lenin Torres (Drums/Percussion) – Lenin got his love of music from his brother Rafael. When he and his brother were young, Rafael was so intrigued by music that inevitably Lenin developed the same passion and love of music. For Lenin music was a way to express himself. He was able to express himself in ways no other passion could.

With the help of his brother Lenin began to teach himself how to play the drums. His passion for music and, in particular drumming drove Lenin to get a degree in music. He completed two semesters and was then accepted into an Engineering program, he realized he would not be able to pursue both passions. Lenin dropped out of his music program and began his Engineering program.

It was during his second year of college, in Venezuela that Lenin became a follower of Christ. That was when God rekindled his passion and love for music, and this time his passion had direction, to glorify God. Lenin started playing for his local church and has not stopped playing since.

Lenin and his wife Daniela shared a deep passion for volleyball, they both played at college level and to this day is one of the things they like doing the most together. Even though they have a deep passion for volleyball, they have an even greater passion for music, God and serving others. They enjoy playing music together and singing occasionally (Daniela handles the singing). They also run some caritative efforts to help low income families in Venezuela. They pray one day their daughter June will share their same passions and an even greater passion of following Jesus, and serving others.

Steve Potter (Guitar/Vocals) – Steve Potter is the worship leader at his church, where he has been blessed to serve for many years. He believes that music is an amazing gift from God to reach people’s hearts and minds at a deep emotional level.

Steve also has a successful professional career, but when he isn’t working or playing music, you’ll find him enjoying country life with his wife Susan, cruising around the local lakes, or high in the mountains of Colorado.

Steve has a desire to bring people (and himself) closer to God by glorifying Him through worship and music in his community and surrounding area.

Linsy Armbruster (Keyboard/Vocals) – Linsy has been involved in music for most of her life starting with many years of playing the piano from an early age. Over the years she picked up more instruments and eventually began singing in high school after she had started as the accompanist for the choirs. Singing in high school and college led into singing at her family church which was mostly hymnal music. When she started going to a new church that was more contemporary praise and worship music she volunteered to help with the worship team if they needed her. Her brother-in law who was also on the worship team made sure to let everyone know that she played the piano as well and now she’s the keyboard player. The worship team leader has really pushed her out of her comfort zone with learning to play with chords instead of only sheet music and she feels like she has grown tremendously as a musician because of this.
When she was approached to join Worship Calling and help lead others through worship and song she was pushed to help lead others in their faith which she never would’ve done if she hadn’t been encouraged by those around her and for that she will be forever grateful.

Linsy lives in her hometown of Cherryvale, Kansas with her husband Levi and their two kids. When she’s not with Worship Calling or leading at her home church she works full time as a dental hygienist. Linsy enjoys sports and other outdoor activities and watching her kids in their various activities.

He and his wife Teryn have been together for almost 12 years, and we have 3 children. They all love worship music and find that worshiping is the best way to connect with the Creator.
